It still requires (sometimes great) effort but I find it very helpful to experience and accept the impermanence of everything. It helps me to observe things as they are and to go from there. No longer blurred by craving or aversion.
If and when I find the peace of mind to approach a challenge that crosses my path in that manner I am always surprised by the natural and loving way this challenge dissolves as quickly as it came up. As I come to trust this practice more and more I move more freely through life.
