After reading Quiet I got a better understanding of what behavior is related to having an introvert pre-disposition. That was helpful. Including the insight that introvert doesn’t necessarily mean anti-social.
Now I start to question that my relative introversion is indeed a pre-disposition as is often generally assumed. I have come to realize that it might very well be another coping mechanism instead. This increasing awareness is a nice starting point for dissolving this condition that when active partly disconnects me from reality in order to be able process that same reality.

Although facing reality fully and equanimously can be challenging and unpleasant at first, it somehow ultimately always results in general well-being for all. The usually increased social activity towards year-end, such Christmas and new-years Eave, is a good time of year to benchmark my progress on this. Happy to report that 2022 compares favorably to 2021.
ps: I realize that sharing insights, such as this one, can be perceived as egotic. But sharing these through this, hopefully non-invasive, platform helps me for them to become more real which is in turn helpful in my (100%) integration process. And it might be a positive trigger for others as well.
